Welcome to our first newsletter! Going forward this will be sent out monthly with info about the area, upcoming fiestas and events etc. Also any new properties or property of interest will also be included.

 

  • Our office in Huescar has now been open for almost a year and over that time there has been much activity in Huescar. Much investment has been put into the town, many buildings are being reformed. Currently being built on the edge of the town is a large sports complex, with pool, bar, tennis courts etc, due for completion this summer. A number of buildings of interest are also currently being restored. The main street C/Morote (we're at No. 81!) has been completely redone making it more pedestrian friendly.

 

It seems that many of the towns and villages in the area are keen to encourage tourism and are investing in improving many of the facilities that are available.

 

  • Granada airport has now been open for international flights for almost two years with new destinations being added. East Midlands Airport has recently been added as a new destination with flights 3 or 4 times a week, if you fancy a complete change of scenery you can now fly to Milan , Italy with Ryanair.

 

  • 28 February is Andalucian day with much celebrating of anything Andalucian, the green and white flag being visible in the streets and the children celebrating in the schools.
  • Take note of our new name, we are now called Farmhouses España!
