Galera
Galera is situated quite close to Huescar and is one of the earlist settlements in the area. It is the site of the 1600 BC settlement of Castellón Alto, which is preseved and a popular attraction. It is also known to be the site of the 6 CB Iberian Necropolis of Tutgi.
As Huescar, Galera was a frontier town during the moorish occupation and changed hand between Moors and Christians a number of times between the 13C and 15C.
